Yours in Health,
Gareth Noble
Hilary, 70, Paignton, Jan 2012
I was prompted to seek chiropractic due to osteoporosis and several fractures of my spine. I was left with intense pain and discomfort. Life was intolerable and I could not do everyday tasks or live a usual life.I was afraid and concerned and I didn’t want to make the symptoms worse but after starting care I found I was given hope.Give chiropractic a go, my pain is much better and manageable. I would recommend Gareth to anybody.
Dave, 47, Brixham, Nov 2011
Prolonged lower back issues and pain over a 15 year period prompted me to consult Noble Chiropractic. I was becoming fed up of taking pills and the suggestion of taking more.
I had a fear of getting hurt, I was worried about being touched and manipulated as I am not a tactile person, especially when in pain, but my fears were soon allayed by the very professional care I received. There was empathy, understanding, knowledge and gentleness. Gareth has extremely good interpersonal skills and healing hands. A trusting relationship builds very quickly.
Dr. Noble has quick access to private x-ray and MRI equipment which I had not been offered before consulting his clinic.
Myself and my family cannot believe the change. Don’t get me wrong this isn’t a ‘magic miracle quick fix’ but personally for me Dr. Noble has managed to achieve so much more with me in just a few sessions than the previous 7 years on tablets.
Chiropractic works and the cost is not too restrictive, less expensive than you might think, what cost can you put on pain relief, mobility and health?
Judy, Dawlish, 65, October 2011
I had constant back, knee and leg pain which the GP Practice could offer no solution for except painkillers or steroid injections. A friend recommended Dr. Gareth Noble to me. I was not sceptical as I am a firm believer in natural health and believe that the body can heal itself with the right promptings and treatment.
I found the office very welcoming and relaxing. On my first visit I was in some pain and limped in, I walked out with greatly reduced pain. I found Dr. Noble very reassuring and helpful.
Everybody I have told about my experience has been interested to hear how my condition has improved dramatically since I started attending the clinic, therefore do not hesitate, have an assessment and any recommended treatment, the treatment I have received has given me my life back and I would recommend it to anybody.
John , Exeter, July 2011
I had severe neck pain on holiday and was unable to enjoy myself or even drive. I decided to seek chiropractic care as I did not wish to have pain killers from the doctor but wanted the basic problem sorted out. As I had used a chiropractor for a back problem 20 years ago I knew what to expect.
<>On arrival I found a very pleasant and friendly atmosphere. Gareth explained my problem and treatment plan in detail, carrying this out with quiet confidence whilst explaining procedures. Most of my friends are surprised about chiropractic as they do not know what the treatment entails but are more interested when I explain the importance of spinal health and posture.I would recommend anyone to go for a consultation to see if chiropractic can help because it gets to the basic cause of the problem not just treating the symptoms.
Peter , 64, Newton Abbot, July 2011
I decided to seek chiropractic care after a recommendation from a friend and also delay in an NHS physiotherapy appointment. I was concerned about the unknown and also wondered how it could work for me but I was soon put at ease by the warm welcome. I was given the facts and an explanation of treatment – helping me to understand the benefits. My friends have given a positive response and although some did not understand how chiropractic works, I soon enlightened them!
Pete , 57, Lympstone, July 2011
I suffered a serious knee injury which was not responding to conventional medication and treatment. I had fears that a chiropractor was simply a ‘bone cruncher’, not so.I was also pleased to discover that treatment included dry needling and have been surprised how successful chiropractic has been for me.Go to the chiropractor for a variety of ailments not just back injuries! I was on a cocktail of drugs before treatment and I am no longer on any medication.
Ben , 21, Kingskerswell, May 2011
After attending several courses care from other health care providers for a back injury I felt that I should seek other opinions as I was not fully recovered and my injury was directly affecting my work and promotion prospects.I had heard some concerns from friends that I was seeing a chiropractor, however I was more than comfortable at Noble Chiropractic. All of the staff are very pleasant and much time was spent understanding my injury with genuine interest and respect. In a short period of time I have felt a massive difference in my pain levels and have found it to be very beneficial. Others have been impressed with my positive reports and I have recommended chiropractic to many.
Martin Bowdler, 55, Dawlish. November 2010
Viv, Bovey Tracey, 52, July 2010
I sought chiropractic help because I was experiencing pain and lack of mobility in my neck. I was getting a lot of headaches and felt constantly tired. I had some concerns about whether the treatment might be uncomfortable but I was open minded about the possibilities and was pleasantly surprised by the warm, friendly welcome. I was made to feel relaxed and comfortable right from the start. Other people have been surprised and interested when I’ve told them about my experience. My husband has seen an improvement in my general health and vitality and I would thoroughly recommend chiropractic care at this clinic, my headaches are now a rarity and I have much more energy, my sleep patterns have improved as has my general sense of well-being.

I couldn’t stand or sit without being in agony! My Local GP recommended that I consult Noble Chiropractic. I had been having injections for the pain and didn’t think anything long term would help until I visited the chiropractor. Becoming pain free and speaking to somebody who really understood my pain has helped me and I would tell others to go for it. I now have long term good health and my back and energy levels are good, also. I have now learnt about the cause of my pain which I didn’t know before
Lynne (47), Kingsteignton, October 09
I have visited different Chiropractors over the years when I have had acute back problems and after meeting Gareth I have decided on proactive care instead of reactive. Gareth listens to me! As with all of us, different problems crop up and it never feels as if he is just going through the motions, I always sing his praises, I never hesitate to recommend him to friends! Relief can, at times, be obtained in a short period of time but I think chiropractic care should be looked at as a long term benefit. If ever I do have an acute problem, my body recovers at a much quicker rate and I’m sure this is due to the regular care I am receiving.
Roger (56), Kingskerswell October 09
I had been suffering from back problems for many years. Prior to my first visit to Noble Chiropractic the pain was unbearable so I decided to try something different from my G.P. and pill popping. I was apprehensive but everybody was nice and it was very professional. Everything was explained very well and I was given a scan and told which areas needed treating. The results have been astonishing, I have been abusing my body for 35 years and after 10 visits I feel better.

Mary (75), Kingskerswell, October 09
I had a great deal of discomfort in my shoulders and arms, I found that resorting to painkillers really did not address the problem and felt that alternative treatment may be of help. On my first visit I was sceptical, but once my discomfort and pain disappeared I had no further concerns. I felt so much better and relaxed after my first treatment and wondered why I had not started much earlier. People I come across show a great deal of interest and I feel they need to experience the positive benefits themselves. Chiropractic is so worthwhile, after treatment you leave with a real feel good factor!
Julie (47), Chudleigh, November 2009
I have noticed in the last few years my hip and lower back have been more restrictive when working, my neck movement has also been restrictive. My main concern with chiropractic was the fear of how I would be treated after a previous experience with a doctor. It was most pleasant; at the beginning was the understanding of the body and treating it with nutritional and environmental care which I personally feel is very important. My friends show great interest, wanting to know more about treatments and keen to take a contact number. You should definitely take into consideration your body as a whole and work with somebody who understands this.
Mike (64), Kingskerswell, Jan 2010
I was suffering increasing disabling one sided lower back pain; because of the location of Noble Chiropractic it was very easy for me to visit. I had no fears with the hands-on treatment and I experienced friendly, understanding, thorough professional care with a willingness to explain everything and anything regarding treatment. What I have experienced has been worth it and with occasional adjustments things are much improved.

Maralyn (68), Torquay, Feb 2010
Frequent back pain, limited mobility and pain in my neck prompted me to consult Noble Chiropractic. Having had Physiotherapy several times over the years with no improvement and on a friend’s advice, I decided to try chiropractic. Although I was slightly sceptical I found a friendly welcome and relaxing atmosphere awaited. Those of my friends who have not tried chiropractic and also those who have are in agreement to the benefits it offers, I would say in 3 words – Go for it!
Avril (69) , Okehampton, April 2008
I had severe back and leg pain which limited daily activity. I also had a desire to stop having to take strong painkillers. I had no fears or concerns about visiting Noble Chiropractic but was very sceptical, therefore finding the calm, relaxed atmosphere, the perfume in the waiting room and the attention to details e.g. comfort and explanation of treatment was a pleasant surprise. I would say don’t talk about seeing Gareth, come and judge for yourself.
Margaret (81) , Torquay, June 08
My back was causing great pain and I hoped going to Noble Chiropractic would help. I had no concerns seeing Gareth as I felt he would assess the reason for the pain, treat me and help alleviate it. After x-rays showed I have arthritis at the base of the spine and treatment commenced I gradually felt much easier and in far less pain and now have no pain. Some of my friends doubted whether a chiropractor could help and they continue to be in pain but I have proved it is possible .
Pauline (40), Newton Abbot
Janet (60), Kingskerswell, April 09
I was in pain, I knew Gareth would be able to help. I had no concerns as I had previously been to a chiropractor. How pleasant Gareth and Crin are, there is always a nice smile when I walk in. People have been surprised that chiropractic care has sorted out my problem and I would say ‘go for it’.
Alan (67) , Paignton, May 09
I had extreme back pain and my son recommended seeing Gareth. There is a nice all round atmosphere at Noble Chiropractic and Gareth is friendly, attentive and uses the latest scanning equipment. I highly recommend chiropractic, it worked for me.
Pauline (40), Newton Abbot, June 09
I was suffering with neck pain following a car accident. My husband recommended Gareth, his chiropractor, as he had suffered with a bad back and had received treatment. I had previously visited an alternative chiropractor following my accident but found the pain increased. The gentle treatment received from Gareth and everything explained clearly before treatment made me feel very relaxed.
I would totally recommend it, my experiences with doctors are they prescribe pain relief, but a chiropractor gets to the root of the problem which is a much more effective way of addressing the problem.
Jean (65), Kingsteignton, July 09
I was in pain and wanted it to stop, painkillers were not helping. I was quite open minded about receiving care and found the clinic so friendly. My pain started to decrease immediately, friends were surprised mostly, then interested and amazed at the results when told of the very gentle treatment. Please try it, this is the route to take, I did and I’m glad.
Lyn (54), Newton Abbot, July 09
I’m very active but had a few aches and pains which prevented me from doing everything I wanted to do. I didn’t feel confident that chiropractic would help, but was pleasantly surprised at the very relaxing and caring atmosphere. Most people are sceptical but several have spoken about giving chiropractic a try, go for it, it has really helped me.
Joyce (67) , Torquay, July 09
After 15+ years suffering from periods of severe back pain, stiffness etc, treatments via doctors, chiropractors and osteopaths, I realised I had to look for a more holistic ideal. Previous experience left me concerned about the style of treatment used, e.g. painful etc.
Noble Chiropractic care covers the whole person, not just a part of the body; from the positive and cheerful receptionist to appointments, support and encouragement. Reaction from friends ranged from surprise at the results to trying treatment themselves. Consider carefully where and who you decide to use - I would recommend Noble Chiropractic.
Diane (57), Newton Abbot, July 09
I decided to seek chiropractic help after two years of back pain and a year of sleepless nights. I had already tried an osteopath, this did not work but I was willing to try anything. I found Noble Chiropractic very friendly with a relaxed atmosphere. When I told my friends they said they would like to try chiropractic. It certainly worked for me.
Daniel (age 6) – Cullompton – February 2009
as told by Emma, Daniel’s mum
Daniel has been seeing a paediatric consultant for 4½ years and had been on double dosage of male adult medication for most of this period, due to severe constipation. The medication wasn’t helping and Daniel was on regular painkillers and anti-inflammatory tablets.
We were referred to Bristol Children’s Hospital who told us he may grow out of it or would receive a colostomy bag. They couldn’t give us a diagnosis and just told us to stop medication. We couldn’t do this as Daniel could go up to five weeks without emptying his bowel. We were at the end of our tethers and no closer to any help, when dad saw Gareth and explained to him what was happening to Daniel, he said he could help.
We were sceptical. I know chiropractic care works as dad, sister and myself see Gareth for back problems, but we couldn’t understand why or how it could help the bowel. After being told by consultants and surgeons at Bristol that only a colostomy bag may help, we felt that maybe there was nothing anybody could do to help.
It’s amazing! Daniel is now on no medication, no painkillers, no anti-inflammatories, hasn’t received hospital admissions, enemas or operations. He has had no swelling of the tummy and no real pain. His bowel is now working and he is opening his bowels every two to three days. It’s amazing. He is a different child. It is unbelievable!
Colin (age 71) – Paignton – February 09
Due to my back pain I was unable to stand upright. Doctors’ pills were not helping so I had to do something and therefore made an appointment with Noble Chiropractic.
From my first visit I was made to feel at ease, an x-ray was arranged, scans done, and my condition fully explained !
Chiropractic care has altered me, my wellbeing and the results of my care are unbelievable! The same could happen to you. See a chiropractor and be surprised.
John – Torquay – October 2008
I consulted Noble Chiropractic in relation to an ongoing shoulder injury and was very sceptical. From the initial phone call they where very welcoming and friendly, every thing was explained fully and clearly regarding the course of care I needed.
I was really struggling to play lawn bowls and I was considering giving up, well the pain has gone and I have gone on to win the club championship!!!! Give it a try!
Janet Lillycrap – Torquay – July 2008
I consulted Noble chiropractic as I was feeling generally unwell with recurrent colds and sinus complaints, together with low energy. I found the adjustments very gentle and enjoyed being able to relax in a pleasant, friendly and caring environment.
I now have more energy and I feel fitter to cope with my life!
Vivienne C – Chudleigh – July 2008
I had been in pain for several years and was feeling depressed at the limits this imposed on me. I was recommended to Noble Chiropractic by my palates teacher who had received great care.
I had seen a chiropractor some years ago briefly and was concerned that chiropractic was about ‘bone crunching’, after seeing Gareth I realised that Chiropractic is about taking a holistic view of the body and my problem.
My friends have remarked on how much more freely I move and back to normal I am. My back problems used to severely limit me and now people are amazed and impressed.
Go to Gareth, he has worked miracles on me!
Gary – Newton Abbot – November 2008
I decided to consult Noble Chiropractic as a result of my long term lower back discomfort and stiffness as well as a general feeling of poor health. I have been to all kinds of back and health care specialists and I thought you would be no different, just closer to home.
I found that all at Noble Chiropractic are genuinely interested in improving health for all the community. Gareth has helped me greatly and I would advise everyone to look for a chiropractor who looks at the whole being and not just on repositioning a misaligned joint.
Joan, 91, Kingskerswell, Aug 2010
I consulted the chiropractor having had back problems most of my adult life, I was constantly takeing pain killers and the medication also affected other medical problems. I was pleasantly surprised by the thorough check up and explanation of problems and treatment, also, it is a very friendly clinic. When I have told others about my experience they are very impressed and not to have to constantly take pain killers is a joy. You must give it a try.
