Booking & Appointments

  • No. You don't need a referral from your GP or another healthcare professional to book an appointment at Noble Chiropractic. You can contact us directly to arrange your assessment.

  • Your first appointment is all about understanding you and your symptoms. We'll begin by discussing your medical history, lifestyle and the concerns that have brought you to the clinic. We'll then carry out an appropriate physical examination. You will then come back in a few days for your ‘Plan of Action’ appointment where the outcome of the first assessment will be thoroughly explained and treatment options will be discussed.

    You will not be treated in your New Patient appointment. You will be treated in your Plan of Action appointment if deemed appropriate.

  • Your initial consultation usually lasts around 45–60 minutes, allowing plenty of time for discussion and assessment.

  • Your ‘Plan of Action’ appointment will be around 30 minutes. Adjustment appointments will be around 10-15 minutes depending on what is required during the session.

  • Yes. You can book your appointment online at a time that suits you using our online booking system. If you can't find a suitable appointment, please contact us directly and we'll do our best to accommodate you.

  • Yes. We offer appointments on evenings and Saturdays to make it easier to fit treatment around work and family life. If you can’t find an appointment online which works for you, please use our contact form, call or email us.

  • Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move easily. Shorts, leggings, joggers and t-shirts are all suitable. Depending on the area being assessed, you may be asked to remove outer layers so we can carry out an appropriate examination.

  • We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel or rearrange your appointment, please let us know as soon as possible so we can offer the appointment to someone else.

Chiropractic Treatment

  • Chiropractors are healthcare professionals who assess, diagnose and manage conditions affecting the muscles, joints and spine. Treatment may include hands-on techniques, movement advice, rehabilitation exercises and lifestyle recommendations to help improve movement, reduce discomfort and support long-term health.

  • You will not receive treatment at your ‘New Patient’ appointment. This is so we can focus on thorough examination, assessment and discussions. You will receive treatment at your ‘Plan of Action’ appointment if appropriate. Treatment will then commence in line with the suggested Plan of Action.

  • Chiropractic treatment shouldn't be painful. In fact, the aim of treatment is to help reduce pain, improve movement and support your recovery. Some techniques may feel unfamiliar, and it's possible to experience mild temporary soreness afterwards (similar to how you might feel after exercise), but this usually settles within a day or two.

    Your comfort is always a priority. If you have any concerns about treatment or would prefer certain techniques to be avoided, simply let Conor know. He'll talk you through every step and tailor your treatment to suit you.

  • Chiropractic care is considered safe when provided by a registered chiropractor following an appropriate assessment. Before beginning any treatment, we'll discuss the potential benefits, risks and whether chiropractic care is suitable for your individual circumstances.

  • There isn't a one-size-fits-all answer. The number of appointments depends on your symptoms, your goals and how your body responds to treatment. We'll regularly review your progress and recommend only what's appropriate for you.

  • While chiropractic care isn't suitable for every condition, many people experience excellent results when treatment is appropriate for their symptoms. A thorough assessment allows us to understand what's causing your problem and determine whether chiropractic care is likely to benefit you.

    If Conor doesn't believe chiropractic treatment is the most appropriate option, he'll explain why and, where necessary, recommend that you see your GP or another healthcare professional. Your health and best interests will always come first.

  • Yes. Back pain is one of the most common reasons people visit a chiropractor. Chiropractic care may help improve movement, reduce pain and stiffness, and support your return to everyday activities. As back pain can have many different causes, Conor will carry out a thorough assessment before recommending the most appropriate treatment plan for you.

  • Yes. Chiropractic care may help reduce neck pain, improve mobility and relieve muscle tension for many people. Neck pain can develop for a variety of reasons, including prolonged desk work, poor posture, muscle strain or injury. A thorough assessment will help determine whether chiropractic care is appropriate for your symptoms.

  • Yes, chiropractic care may help some people with sciatica, particularly when symptoms are related to the muscles, joints or spine. Sciatica often causes pain, numbness or tingling that travels from the lower back into the buttock or leg. Because several different conditions can cause these symptoms, Conor will carry out a detailed assessment before recommending the most appropriate treatment or, if necessary, referring you for further investigation.

  • Yes. Some headaches, particularly tension headaches and headaches linked to the neck, may respond well to chiropractic care. During your assessment, Conor will determine whether your symptoms appear to have a musculoskeletal component and discuss whether chiropractic treatment may be appropriate for you.

  • Yes. Chiropractic care may help support recovery from a wide range of sports and exercise-related injuries by improving movement, reducing discomfort and helping you return to the activities you enjoy. Every injury is different, so your assessment will help determine the most appropriate treatment and rehabilitation plan.

  • Yes. Chiropractic care may help improve shoulder movement and reduce pain where appropriate. Shoulder pain isn't always caused by the shoulder itself, so Conor will assess how your shoulder, neck and upper back are working together before creating a personalised treatment plan.

  • Yes. Chiropractic care may help improve movement and reduce discomfort associated with certain types of hip pain. Because hip pain can sometimes originate from the lower back, pelvis or surrounding muscles, a thorough assessment is important before deciding on the most appropriate course of treatment.

  • Yes. Chiropractic care can help identify movement patterns and lifestyle factors that may be contributing to poor posture and discomfort. Treatment may be combined with practical advice and exercises to help improve posture, movement and overall function. Your assessment will help determine which approach is most appropriate for you.

  • Yes. Chiropractic care may help improve mobility and reduce pain in joints such as the shoulders, hips, knees and ankles where appropriate. Following a thorough assessment, Conor will discuss the most suitable treatment options based on your symptoms and individual needs.

  • Yes. Free on-site parking is available for patients visiting the clinic at the front of the building.

  • Patients visit Noble Chiropractic from across Hull, including Sutton, Bilton, Hedon, Kingswood, Cottingham, Beverley and the surrounding East Yorkshire area.

  • Yes. Conor is a fully qualified chiropractor, having completed a Master of Chiropractic (MChiro) degree at McTimoney College of Chiropractic. He is registered with the General Chiropractic Council (GCC), the independent regulator for chiropractors in the UK, and is entitled to use the protected title Doctor of Chiropractic (DC).

    Being GCC registered means Conor meets the professional standards required to practise safely, ethically and effectively, giving you confidence that you're receiving care from a regulated healthcare professional.

  • Every patient is different, so treatment is tailored to your individual needs. Depending on your assessment, your care may include hands-on chiropractic techniques, soft tissue therapy, rehabilitation exercises and practical advice to help support your recovery.

Payments

  • Overall cost will vary dependent on how many sessions are recommended as part of your treatment plan. New Patient appointments are £55 which includes your ‘Plan of Action’ follow up appointment.

    We offer options to reduce your overall cost by paying for your full treatment plan upfront or in two payments. You can also pay for each appointment individually. Please contact us for more information on pricing.

  • We accept a range of payment methods, including debit and credit cards.

  • Yes - please contact us before booking if you'd like to use private medical insurance, as cover varies between providers.

General

  • If aches, pains or stiffness are stopping you from doing the things you enjoy or affecting your everyday life, it may be worth arranging an assessment. We'll take the time to understand your symptoms and discuss the most appropriate next steps.

  • Not necessarily. Many people choose to see a chiropractor directly. However, if your symptoms suggest that another healthcare professional would be more appropriate, we'll explain this and advise you accordingly.

  • Of course. If you'd like someone to accompany you to your appointment, they're very welcome to come along. During your consultation and treatment, we may ask them to wait in our waiting area so you can speak openly and so there's enough space for your assessment. If you need someone with you for support or assistance, please let us know in advance and we'll do our best to accommodate your needs.

  • Your health always comes first. If, following your assessment, we don't believe chiropractic care is the most appropriate option, we'll explain why and, where appropriate, recommend that you see your GP or another healthcare professional.
